TEB Bank and Swisscontact launch a new program for supporting women entrepreneurs
Today, with the occasion of 8 March, Women International Day, TEB bank in cooperation with Swisscontact organized a conference where they signed the memorandum of agreement for launching a new program that offers women entrepreneurs opportunities to start and develop their businesses.Expired: 04/04/2016
Considering the barriers that women entrepreneurs face in Kosovo and the phases that start-up businesses go through, TEB bank aims to support these women entrepreneurs by offering loans up to 3,000 € for start-up businesses with 0% interest rate, 0% administrative expenses and 0% effective interest rate.
TEB bank believes valuable business ideas are worth to invest. The organization of this conference in cooperation with Swisscontact proved their readiness toward the development of Kosovar society through this program and future programs.
In this conference participated: Arton Celina – Deputy Managing Director of TEB, Sigrid Meijer – Project Manager of PSSE in Swisscontact and Artan Sadiku – Head of SME Banking Division in TEB.
Mr. Celina, stated: “TEB bank has always supported women entrepreneurs and with the products and services that TEB bank offers aim to mitigate the barriers that women entrepreneurs face during the start-ups.”
This cooperation between TEB bank and Swisscontact aims at increasing the number of women start-up businesses, increasing the services through banking products, identifying the barriers that women entrepreneurs face and offering juridical advices for co-ownership.
