"Green Loan" is back to individual clients of TEB Bank
Replace windows, thermal facade, and roof or do another project to increase household energy efficiency and benefit grant of up to 20% of the loan amount.
Green Loan is a unique product in the market that is offered to individual bank clients in cooperation with EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development).
Applicants of this loan have the opportunity to receive a grant of up to 20% of the loan amount due to the fulfillment of certain conditions in case of construction and renovation in the scope of increase of energy efficiency, set by the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development).
If the loan is intended only for one technology, then the client will receive 15% grant on the loan value, whereas if two or more technologies contribute to the increase of energy efficiency then the grant will be 20% of the loan. After the client has completed the investment and has proved with regular invoices that he has met the specified conditions, then within one month period the investment verification is completed and the amount received from the grant is transferred to the borrower’s bank account.
Example 1: If the customer receives a Green Loan of 4,000 Euro only for replacement of house or apartment windows, according to EBRD standards that consist in the increase of energy saving, then the client receives a grant of 15% of the loan value or 600 Euro.
Example 2: If the customer receives a Green Loan of 10,000 Euro for replacement of windows and insulation of the walls of house or apartment, according to EBRD standards that consist in the increase of energy savings, then the client receives a grant in a value of 20% of the loan or 2,000 Euro.
For each specific loan, TEB Bank in cooperation with the borrowers will plant a sapling in their city.
The Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) it’s a program developed by EBRD. GEFF is supported by grant resources from the European Union, to finance investment incentives to the eligible borrowers and from other donors, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance and the Western Balkan Investment Framework.
